Our expertise include overhauling and installing deck handling / lifting equipment. Hose supply and maintenance. Scantrol Fishing Technology , exclusively for the fishing industry.

We offer a maintenance service to local Eco Centre and Oil Companies. Troubleshooting hydraulic problems , fault finding , Overhauling mud transfer systems and power packs.

We have established an excellent relationship with our local waste plant, dealing with plant repairs , hose supply and ram refurbishment.

Meet the staff

Company director James Cowie (Jim) originally worked as a Mechanical Engineer. He became interested in Hydraulics and he continued to work as a Hydraulic Engineer for the next 20 years in the Fishing & Oil Industries. In 2007 he saw an opportunity to provide a specialist service using his experience to set up J.C Hydraulics Ltd.
He enjoys the challenges that Hydraulics impose and the satisfaction when the job is successfully completed.
